By downloading, installing, or using Creole Translator (“the App”) on your iOS device, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please delete the App.
The App provides speech transcription and translation between Haitian Creole and English using third-party AI services. Features include voice recording, AI-powered transcription and translation, text-to-speech playback, and a local translation history.
The App is provided under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use on your iOS devices. You may not:

The App relies on third-party AI services (currently Groq AI) to process your speech. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Machine translation and transcription may contain errors. Do not rely on the App for critical communications such as medical, legal, or emergency situations.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is $0.00, as the App is free).
AI-generated translations and transcriptions may be imperfect, especially for regional dialects or informal speech. The App is provided as a convenience tool and should not replace qualified human interpreters in important situations.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates.
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
