Privacy Policy

Overview

Alaska Cruise Finder – Seattle ("the App") is an iOS app developed by James Baker in partnership with Global Vibes Travel. It helps users browse and compare Alaska cruises departing from Seattle's Pier 91, and connect with a certified travel specialist. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and how it is handled.

Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Your location or GPS data
• Device identifiers, IP addresses, or advertising IDs (beyond what AdMob may use — see below)
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Search queries or filter preferences

Cruise Data

Cruise listings, pricing, itineraries, and ship information displayed in the App are loaded from a bundled local dataset and optionally refreshed from a remote server managed by the developer. No personal information is transmitted during these updates — the App simply downloads a data file.

Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers and other signals to serve contextual or personalized ads. On first launch the App requests permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework — you can decline this permission and ads will still appear (contextual rather than personalized). You can also limit ad tracking at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising on your device.

Inquiry Form

If you choose to submit an inquiry ("Book with Chantale"), the information you enter in the form — your name, email, travel dates, and notes — is sent directly to Global Vibes Travel via email to facilitate a booking consultation. This information is handled according to Global Vibes Travel's own privacy practices. We do not store it on any server controlled by the developer.

External Links

The App contains links to third-party websites, including cruise line booking pages and the Global Vibes Travel Calendly scheduling page. When you tap these links and leave the App, the privacy practices of those external sites apply.

Children's Privacy

Alaska Cruise Finder is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
