Creole Translator — Haitian Creole & English
Creole Translator does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Audio you record is processed in real time and is never stored on our servers.
Creole Translator ("the App") is an Android app developed by James Baker that provides speech-to-text translation between Haitian Creole and English. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it on your Android device.
The App requires access to your device's microphone to record speech for translation. The following applies:

When speaking Haitian Creole text aloud, the App uses Android's built-in Text-to-Speech engine. This processing happens entirely on-device and no data is transmitted externally.
The App stores a local history of your recent translations (up to 50 entries) on your device using Android's standard SharedPreferences storage. This data:
The App does not collect any of the following:
The App contains no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and no analytics frameworks. It does not participate in any ad networks.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the Play Store release notes.
