A real-time view of your iPhone or iPad's hidden configuration
Most questions about Device Inspector come down to one thing: the IDFA reading as all-zeros. See below before reporting it as a bug.
iOS zeros out the advertising identifier until you grant App Tracking Transparency permission. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and enable it for Device Inspector, or respond "Allow" the next time the app prompts you.
The iOS Simulator always returns an all-zero IDFA regardless of ATT status — this is an Apple platform limitation, not a bug in the app. Use a real device to see a live value.
Tap any row to copy its value to the clipboard. Use the search bar at the top to filter across every field instantly.
No. Everything shown stays on your device. The only network activity is loading the AdMob banner ad and anonymous usage analytics — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Device Inspector runs on iPhone and iPad.
If your issue isn't covered above, please reach out and include your device model, iOS version, and a description of what you expected vs. what happened.
