MyHealthRelay — From you to your care team
MyHealthRelay reads your Apple Health data on your iPhone, builds a PDF you can share with your doctor, and never sends your health data anywhere. All processing happens on your device.
MyHealthRelay ("the App") is an iPhone app developed by James Baker that reads Apple Health data, displays a customizable dashboard, and generates a one-page PDF summary for sharing with your healthcare provider. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
With your explicit permission via the standard iOS Health permission dialog, the App reads the following data types from Apple Health to display them in the dashboard and PDF report:
With your permission, the App also writes the following data types to Apple Health (used only when you import historical data from a Google Takeout):
You can review and revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → MyHealthRelay.
Health data read from or written to Apple Health stays on your iPhone. The App has no backend servers, no user accounts, and no cloud sync. The PDF report is generated locally on your device. When you share it (via AirDrop, Messages, email, or the system share sheet), iOS handles the transfer — MyHealthRelay does not see or store the recipient.
The App optionally lets you import a Google Takeout ZIP file containing historical Fitbit / Google Health data. When you choose a file via the iOS file picker:
The App displays a small banner advertisement from Google AdMob at the bottom of the dashboard to support free distribution. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect a limited set of identifiers to serve and measure ads:
Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob & AdSense policies. Your Apple Health data is never shared with the ad SDK or used for ad targeting.
On first launch, after the Health permission dialog, iOS will display Apple's standard "Allow MyHealthRelay to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites?" prompt. Granting allows AdMob to serve personalized ads using your device's advertising identifier. Denying limits AdMob to non-personalized ads. Either choice is fully compatible with the App. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
MyHealthRelay does not collect, transmit, or sell:
MyHealthRelay is rated 4+ in the App Store and is not directed at children under the age of 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Significant changes will be summarized in App Store version notes.
