Privacy Policy

NFS Files · Last updated July 2026

Your files stay on your network. NFS Files connects directly from your device to your own NFS server — your file names and contents never pass through us or any cloud service.

Files and servers

The servers you add (address, shared-folder path, and the numeric User ID/Group ID you choose) are stored only on your device. The files you browse, download, upload, or preview move directly between your device and your server over your local network. We never receive, store, or have access to any of this.

Files you preview or share are cached temporarily on your device so reopening them is fast. You can clear this cache at any time in Settings → Downloaded Files. Nothing in the cache is ever uploaded to us.

Advertising

NFS Files is free and supported by ads provided through Google AdMob. To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use:

On first launch we ask for your consent (via Google's consent form and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) before any personalized ads are shown. You can change tracking permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Remove ads

The optional one-time NFS Files Pro purchase removes all ads. Purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive or store your payment information.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or browsing history, and we operate no servers that receive your data. We have no account system.

Children

NFS Files is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. It is a utility for accessing your own network file shares.
