By installing or using the New Year Countdown Screensaver (“the App”) on your Roku device, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.
The App is a free screensaver for Roku devices that displays a real-time countdown to midnight on New Year’s Eve (January 1 of the upcoming year). The countdown is calculated using your device’s internal clock and updates every second.
The App is provided under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use on Roku devices. You may not:
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is $0.00, as the App is free).
The countdown timer relies on your Roku device’s system clock. If your device’s date, time, or timezone settings are incorrect, the countdown may not accurately reflect the time remaining until New Year. We are not responsible for inaccuracies caused by incorrect device settings.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates.
Your use of the Roku platform is governed by Roku’s own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the Roku platform, its availability, or its policies.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
