Munchmark — Save & Organize Restaurants
Need help with Munchmark? Browse the common questions below or reach out directly — we typically respond within 1–2 business days.
There are two ways. The easiest is to share a link directly from Instagram, TikTok, Safari, or any other app: tap the Share button (the box with an arrow) and select Munchmark from the share sheet. Munchmark will automatically identify the restaurant and fill in all the details.
You can also copy an Instagram or TikTok URL to your clipboard and open Munchmark — it will detect the link and ask if you want to save it.
Tap the Share button in any app, scroll to the bottom of the share sheet, and tap More. Tap Edit in the top right, find Munchmark in the list, and tap the green + to add it. You only need to do this once.
Munchmark works with any URL that mentions or features a restaurant — including Instagram posts and Reels, TikTok videos, Facebook posts, Yelp pages, Google Maps links, restaurant websites, and food blog articles.
Munchmark uses AI to identify restaurants from link content. If the link is a very short video with no caption, or from a lesser-known site, the AI may not have enough context. In this case a placeholder save is created — you can tap it to edit and fill in the restaurant name and location manually.
Yes. Tap the restaurant card to open it, then tap Edit in the top right. You can update the name, location, category, and all other details manually. Changes are saved to iCloud instantly.
Tap the heart icon on a restaurant card, or open the restaurant and tap the heart at the top. Your favorites appear in the Favorites tab for quick access.
Go to the Lists tab and tap New List at the bottom. Give your list a name (like "Date Night Spots" or "Nashville Trip") and tap Create.
Open a list, tap the share icon in the top right, and choose how to invite — via Messages, AirDrop, or a share link. The person you invite will need an iCloud account. They can view (or edit, depending on the permission you choose) the list in their own copy of Munchmark.
Shared lists appear in the Shared With Me section on the Lists tab. If it doesn't appear, make sure you accepted the CloudKit sharing invitation (you may have received it via Messages or email).
Munchmark uses iCloud to sync. Make sure iCloud is enabled on both devices (Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud) and that your devices are connected to the internet. It may take a minute for changes to propagate. If sync is still stuck, try closing and reopening the app.
Your data is stored in iCloud, not on your device. If you reinstall Munchmark and sign in with the same Apple ID, all your saves will reappear. To permanently delete your data, go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Munchmark and delete the app's data there.
